A longtime Cooperative Extension colleague has accepted a new position within UW-Extension. Gregory K. (Greg) Hutchins began his new position as UW-Extension secretary of faculty and staff and vice chancellor on Aug. 1, 2009. Hutchins had served as assistant dean and state program director for Cooperative Extension's 4-H Youth Development since 1994.

With the departure of Hutchins from Cooperative Extension, Donna Menart has been named interim 4-H Youth Development state program director for one year beginning Aug. 1, 2009. Menart had been serving as the 4-H Youth Development associate state program director/assistant state program leader. She has worked for Cooperative Extension in various roles since 1974.
