I am now a retired geology professor from UW-River Falls. During my tenure at UWRF I had the pleasure to work with some very talented Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey Quaternary scientists. In particular, Lee Clayton and John Attig were first-class scientists who frequently collaborated with me in conducting research in glacial geology, particularly in western Wisconsin. Clayton and Attig, often in collaboration with Dave Michelson, generated a wealth of information on the glacial history of Wisconsin. They are a credit to the WGNHS.
