I started at UW-Fox Valley in 2004. After graduating from High School I didn't have a lot of drive toward one specific career path or another and chose the local UW College campus in order to try a little bit of everything. I started by taking a lot of Music classes which I felt was my passion. But as time went by I kept creeping into Chemistry and Math and puzzle solving aspects were far more intriguing. Dr Martin Rudd, my then Chemistry Professor, had suggested I seek an internship at a plastic packaging company. This was the start of my career path that led to me using the UW College guaranteed transfer system and completing my Chemical Engineering Degree at UW Madison in 2009. I'm grateful that I was able to start out my academic career at a small school as it allowed me to explore my options and have more 1 on 1 time with professors that helped me figure out my life's path.
