The UW Colleges was a starting point that grew into my professional dream! After high school, I moved away to attend a big university and leave my small hometown. After one semester, & receiving a very large tuition bill, I transferred to UW-Marshfield/Wood County to play volleyball, complete my general education credits, save my money, & stay close to home. Soon, I quickly realized how much potential I had as a college student. My professors were attentive and my academic advisor helped me navigate changing my major (5 times) and determining a path that would work best for me. I became a part of the campus community. I was able to be involved in leadership roles, work in the athletics department, sit on committees, and serve on boards. I earned my Associates Degree & started working as the campus recruiter my senior year in College. Years later, I am very proud to serve as the Campus Administrator for UW-Barron County as well as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management for UW-Marshfield/Wood County. I am so proud to tell my story & continue to be a part of the amazing UW Colleges Family!
