When I heard about 4-H for the first time, I just thought it was just for farmers. I didn't think I could be in the fair unless I had a cow or chicken to show. I'm now a sophomore in high school, and involved in more 4-H projects than I ever could've imagined. I'm very active in drama, and have received the first place actress award twice at Creative Arts Day in Pitsville. This year, I was accepted into State Drama Team, and it's been the highlight of my year thus far. I'm currently our club's Secretary, and have been the Vice President as well. 4-H has made me a more confident and passionate leader, and has improved my communication skills overall. I hope the University sees just how impactful and important the arts and 4-H is to teens like myself, and that they continue to help it flourish. I would like to thank everyone who's made the 4-H program and Youth Conference possible. You have created a special, new family in my life. #4-HGrowsHere
